Great product for wing chun or other grabbing arts October 1, 2008
with a little modification of removing the grip bars in the palm these gloves make excellent sparring gloves for MMA or any other martial art. I like the full finger protection given with the added benifit of still being able to fully move my hands for grapping or other bits. If you do any style that requires grabbing the other person and don't want to spend 60+ dollars this is a must have!

Take a beating and totally last. They fit well but tend to stain your hand when you get really sweaty.

This is an excellent product. It exceeded my expectations and is part of my daily workout.
Great training glove February 8, 2008
I modified the glove a little before using it. I removed the bar across the palm to grapple/weightlift and I removed the smaller pads on the fingers to grip my fist tighter. Its great for training. I can beat on the heavy bag all day and not feel a thing. I dont use it for full contact sparring though cause I'm not so sure how well it will protect my training partner.

These are very well made and take a beating. I cut out the roll in the palm to use them for MMA training. The wrist wrap feature is great for hard hitting (similar to their lifting gloves). Overuse of these gloves seems to make wrists weaker because of all over-support they provide to the wrist during punching. I use them once in a while but prefer a light bag glove with a looser wrist to increas arm strength.
